Memorial Services

If you have lost a loved one and are not sure who to turn to for a Memorial or Funeral, look no further. Nick Arbia Ordained Minister is known for his compassion, light and love that he can shed in what seems like the darkest of times. In a delicate time such as this, leave it in the hands of someone who will be sure to put your needs first and make sure everything is done as you would like it to be.

Are you “spiritual but not religious?” Do traditional funerals leave you cold, empty, alone? Does the service feel like a soul saving sermon? Have you told your family not to have a funeral for you?

Funeral Celebrants make all the difference when you want to create “A Good Goodbye.” A legacy and remembrance that will comfort your loved ones.
When a loved one passes away you want to be sure to look to a professional that will help you and your family in your time of need without hassles. Minister Nick Arbia, from Modern Ministries, makes time to talk with you and your family, and to tailor a memorial service that suits your needs and your loved ones and families wishes.

Every life deserves to be celebrated in a special way and every family deserves a time of mourning. An experience that is deeply significant. As a Funeral Celebrant and multicultural ritual expert, I offer customized, creative, sensitive, and spirited End-of-Life Ceremonies of all types.  My services are designed specifically to suit your unique needs and beliefs. My mission is twofold: To honor the life of your loved one in a meaningful manner that respects their beliefs, reflects their personality and circumstances, and celebrates the love and significance of the relationship that you shared. I want to offer comfort, consolation and grief support to those relatives, friends and colleagues who mourn their loss. I would be honored to work with you, and your family, in your time of need.

I create and officiate Funeral and Memorial Services, End of Life Tributes, Celebration of Life Ceremonies, and Committal and Graveside Services. I walk the family through the entire process, creating a customized, personal ceremony that truly honors your loved one and their special place in your lives. I am a Funeral Celebrant and Ordained Minister who creates personalized Funerals, Memorial Services, Celebration of Life Services, I am a compassionate listener and am gifted in Ceremony writing and public speaking.  I design meaningful Ceremonies which include poetry, readings, and other elements that honor and celebrate the life of your loved one. I respect your desires and requests, encourage family participation.

As an ordained Interfaith/multi-faith Minister, I offer compassionate, non judgemental,  personalized, celebrant services for religious, non-religious, or spiritual services and ceremonies. Some families have received clear direction of their loved one’s final wishes. Some families do not have this and might return to or deepen, their cultural and religious roots in deciding how to create a service. I will create a service honoring the final wishes of your loved one, and your family wishes. I will support you in creating a ceremony that might include rituals that are common to your faith tradition or personal vision to memorialize your loved one.

Religious or not, love is the ultimate path and every family has a unique expression of their relationship. I will support you, allowing for an authentic expression of your family and friend’s grief, love and gratitude.
Modern Ministries can help you be sure to remember, pay tribute to, and honor your love one in a way that helps everyone find peace through love.

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.

All is well.

Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before only better, infinitely happier and forever we will all be one together with God.
